Grow your business by selling to government

Government tenders and contracts, also known as bids and proposals are a great way to get into business. They provide a unique opportunity to gain access to new markets and expand your business.

In Australia all three tiers of government advertise their tenders. The advertising period is usually two weeks, while very large tenders are open for longer.

Where do tenders get advertised?

Below is a list where you can find advertised government tenders and by the way, these tendering portals are free to search.

By registering your details, you will receive email alerts for government tenders that match your interests.  The email will contain a link where you can download the tender documents.

Australian Government Tenders

  • AusTender - The Australian Federal Government publishes all contracting opportunities on AusTender. This site provides an 'Advance Notice' section where future procurement opportunities (sometimes as far away as six-months) are advertised.

Australian State and Territory Government Tenders

Local Government Tenders

Most Western Australian Local Government Tenders  are advertised on Tenderlink and Vendor Panel

As mentioned earlier, both these sites are free to search. You can sign-up for an email alert service, which is also free of charge.

Paid Subscription Service

There are several commercial tendering websites.

Some of our customers use ICN Gateway, which has proven successful for them.  Many primes / head contractors use ICN Gateway to find suitable regional sub-contractors for large projects in regional locations.

If you need help with finding suitable tenders we can help.

We offer a government tender alert service.
