Here is a list to help you find the best bid writers in your country.

1. Good old Google to the rescue! However, make sure you search for tender or bid writers in your country.  I say this, because they will understand the nuances each country might have when it comes to tender scoping documents

2. Select at least 3-4 bid writers in your country but preferably in your state or region

3. Search for Google Reviews and LinkedIn

4. Visit the bid writer's company website to get a sense of their business.

  • Do they specialise in particular industries such as construction? defence? education? and so on

  • Do they assist large companies only or small businesses as well?

5. Most Importantly ‘Is The Bid Writer Certified By The APMP?’

I am a certified bid writer. My industry association is the APMP - Association of Proposal Management Professionals. It is the only international industry association for proposal writers.  The APMP certification is the global standard for developing and demonstrating bid, proposal, and capture competency.

As part of my APMP certification,  I am required keep learning and improving my skills as a bid writer. To maintain my accreditation I must complete a set number of hours of professional development through the APMP.

This will also be the case for the APMP certified tender writers in your country.

What does the APMP certification mean for my customers?

It means that I use industry best practice methodologies to prepare your tender submission which will result in more wins for you.

6. Pick-up the phone and speak to the bid writer - You will get a sense of what they are like and if you want to work with them.

7. Ask them for Referees you can contact.

I hope you find the Best Tender Writer for your project.
